A personal project, created with care

About AngelFur

AngelFur was created by Rob Hessler, after the loss of their beloved dog, Jazmine.

Why I created AngelFur

When Jazmine died, I was reminded how deeply a pet can become part of a family’s everyday life. The quiet routines, familiar expressions, favourite places, and small habits do not feel small when they are suddenly gone.

I created AngelFur to give other families a gentle place to preserve those details. A memorial can hold the story of who a pet was, the joy they brought, and the memories that deserve to remain easy to find and share.

Created personally, not anonymously

AngelFur is a small, independently operated Canadian service. I oversee the site personally from Ingersoll, Ontario. Memorial pages are designed to be simple and respectful, while optional memorial songs are prepared through a human-reviewed, AI-assisted creative process.

What matters here

A serene portrait of Jazmine.

Every pet’s story should be handled with care, accuracy, and compassion. AngelFur is being built around clear pricing, honest explanations, privacy-conscious practices, and personal accountability.

Jazmine inspired the beginning of AngelFur. My hope is that the service helps other families hold onto the memories that made their own companion irreplaceable.

The goal is not to turn grief into a transaction. The free memorial page is the foundation of AngelFur. Paid creative services are optional and are intended for families who want an additional way to remember and share their pet’s story.
